Presently, "The Corner" (derived from it's location at the corner of Trumbull and Michigan Avenues) is the subject of debate as to what shall be done with it. Built in 1911, it was declared a State of Michigan Historic Site in 1975 and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1989.
